Wayne is a patent agent with over 14 years of technical experience. Wayne brings a unique perspective with his diverse experience as an electrical engineer with background in chemistry, physics, and mathematics.
At Hewlett-Packard Company Wayne was as a member of technical staff and project manager for various aspects in the design of flexible electronic circuits and materials in microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). Wayne was an active member of the in-house IP committee and was responsible for review, approval and strategic direction of inventions and patent applications.
Wayne’s experience prior to Hewlett-Packard includes material scientist, packaging engineer, and chemist at various corporations.
Wayne has a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from University of Oregon School of Law with a certificate in intellectual property law; and B.S. Chemistry with a minor in mathematics from the California State University; and is licensed to practice before the USPTO. Wayne has been an inventor on several patents including those directed to epoxy flux, corrosion inhibitor coatings used in fuel cells and current ink jet products.
